A notification regarding their promotion was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (March 24) night.<\/p>\n<p>The notification states that 264 officials from the BCS (Administration) cadre have been promoted to the senior scale (senior assistant secretary) post in accordance with rule 5(b) of the &#8216;Bangladesh Civil Service Recruitment Rules, 1981&#8217;. Their salaries will be in the sixth grade of the National Pay Scale, 2015, ranging from Tk 35,500 to Tk 67,010.<\/p>\n<p>The promoted officials are required to send their joining letters as special officers (senior assistant secretary) to the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration via the email address iapp@mopa.gov.bd.
